Baltimore County Association of Senior Citizens Organizations, Inc.  (BCASCO), a non-partisan, all-volunteer 501(c)(3) Organization. Established in 1978, started with a small group of people who had an idea. Now we are a vital part of the Baltimore County community,  we are recognized as a leader in advocacy and “spokesperson” for the older population.  Our mission is to improve the quality of life of this significant group, including 20 Senior Centers (over  20,000 members), those within otherwise senior interest groups, and county senior residents overall.  To that end, we advocate for legislation of senior concerns and coordinate a communication network to disseminate information, including Public Forum events. We assist senior groups/ organizations in enhancing their individual strengths while exploring our mutual interests in the enhancement of the quality of senior lives. Our offerings are extended to Caregivers, family members, and friends of this important population of citizens.
